Challenge

Pomodollar aimed to create a productivity-focused browser extension for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. The primary challenge was achieving seamless cross-browser and cross-profile synchronization of the timer, notifications, and other features, ensuring a consistent user experience regardless of the browser or device.

Solution

We developed a robust solution using .NET Core for the backend, enabling seamless synchronization across browsers and profiles. SignalR provided real-time updates, while Quartz.NET powered the timer and scheduling features. Firebase was implemented for secure data management and cross-profile functionality. The frontend, built with React, ensured an intuitive and responsive interface. Data was managed using PostgreSQL, ensuring scalability, and the project was deployed using Azure and Azure DevOps. For payment processing, Stripe was seamlessly integrated.
